Troy transfer defensive lineman T.J. Jackson is expected to visit the Indiana football program this weekend.

Indiana football continues to look at adding depth and talent to its defensive line and is in line to receive a visit from a talented transfer in the coming week.

Troy transfer T.J. Jackson has narrowed down his list and has scheduled visits to numerous programs including West Virginia, Houston and Indiana football, according to Sports Illustrated West Virginia reporter Schuyler Callihan.

First up will be West Virginia on Jan 4 with Houston and Indiana shortly after. According to Callihan, a decision is expected to come within the next week.

Jackson was an All-Sun Belt performer in 2023 after totaling 27 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

In three seasons at Troy, Jackson combined for 94 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, four passes defended and one fumble recovery.

In addition to the interest from the aforementioned programs, Boston College and Texas A&M are among the other programs involved as well.

For Indiana, adding to the defensive line is a major point of emphasis heading into the spring. Currently, Indiana has very little depth or experience on the defensive line despite adding five lineman during the early signing period.

Jackson, a 6-foot-1 and 280-pounder, has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

He was just a two-star prospect coming out of high school, rated the No. 128 player in Alabama.
