Former Indiana basketball guard Devonte Green added to Assembly Ball TBT roster

The next member of the Assembly Ball TBT roster was announced on Friday morning as former Indiana basketball guard Devonte Green become the newest name.

Green will be joining former Indiana basketball players Juwan Morgan, Miller Kopp and Troy Williams, who were all announced last week.

Green played at Indiana from 2016-20, appearing in 120 games and averaging 8.0 points for his career. Best known for his shooting and playmaking ability, Green was a career 37.7 percent three-point shooter and made 164 3s across four seasons.

The 6-foot-3 combo guard was primarily a spark plug off of the bench in the sixth man role. He started just 31 games in his career.

As a senior, Green averaged a career-best 10.6 points per game while shooting 35.8 percent from three. He two 3s a game for 59 on the season.

His best year shooting the ball was in 2018-19 as a junior when he shot 41 percent from three and hit 48 3s on the year.

He had at least one made three in 82 career games and had 38 games with at least two 3s.

After his time with Indiana basketball, Green spent time with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Summer League and has had a successful career overseas.

TBT will have eight regions across the country from July 19th-July 24th and one semifinals/championship site. The Assembly Ball team playing at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on July 19-23.

The winning team receives $1M split up between the team members, all earning a different ‘salary’ amount.
