2024 three-star quarterback Alberto Mendoza announced his commitment to Indiana football earlier this week, becoming the first commitment in the 2024 class under the new coaching staff.

Mendoza was a former James Madison commit under Curt Cignetti and was brought over following the coaching switch.

Mendoza spoke with Rivals National Analyst John Garcia earlier this week to discuss his Indiana football commitment and what he liked about his visit. He also dives into the relationship and trust he has in the Indiana coaching staff.
