Washington transfer Koren Johnson has announced he is down to five schools with Indiana basketball being one of the five per On3.

The sophomore guard also included Florida, UCLA, Oregon, and a return to Washington as his other potential options for next season.

The Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year averaged 11.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game this season.

Johnson improved his field goal percentage from 39.9% to 44.1% from his freshman to sophomore year. He also improved his three-point percentage from 32.1% to 37.3%.

Johnson has played 60 games for the Huskies, coming off the bench in all but five.

The 6-foot-2 guard was ranked as the No. 25 overall player in On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings and was a four-star prospect coming out of high school.

The Seattle native would be a massive addition to the Indiana basketball roster, which needs another experienced guard to play alongside Trey Galloway.
