Indiana basketball under new head coach Darian DeVries has officially started recruiting the 2027 class.
As announced yesterday on his Twitter page, Indiana basketball has extended an offer to 2027 guard Chase Branham.
Branham who is from Rogersville, MO currently holds offers from schools such as Missouri, Missouri State, Kansas State, and others in addition to the Hoosiers.
The 6-foot-4 guard is currently ranked as the No. 62 player in the country per 247sports rankings and is the 16th best point guard. 247Sports currently lists Branham as a three-star recruit.
Branham averaged 19.2 points and 2.7 rebounds as a sophomore and shot 62 percent from the field, according to the Springfield News-Leader.
He plays for KC Run GMC on the AAU Circuit.
Branham is the first player in the 2027 class to receive an offer since Darian DeVries took over as head coach.
Indiana basketball had previously offered Jaxson Davis, Jason Gardner, and other top recruits from the 2027 class.
