Former Indiana football wide receiver DeQuece Carter and long snapper Sean Wracher have received training camp invites from the New York Giants.
Wracher and Carter are the latest Hoosiers to receive an opportunity at the next level.
Wracher played in 57 games during his five-year career and was named a semifinalist for the Patrick Mannelly Award (the nation’s best long snapper). He was also a member of the Phil Steele All-Big-Ten third-team last season.
Carter spent one year with Indiana Football after transferring from Fordham. Carter was second on the team in receiving yards with 395 on 27 catches. He hauled in three touchdowns while averaging 14.6 yards per catch on the season.
Carter showed off his big play ability last season, catching a 90-yard touchdown against Penn State which was the fifth-longest play from scrimmage in Indiana Football history.
The Giants already have one former Indiana football player on the roster with linebacker Micah McFadden who recorded 101 tackles a season ago.
Wracher and Carter will now look to join McFadden and earn a roster spot during training camp ahead of the 2024-25 season.
