Report: Former Indiana football RB Shaun Shivers signs deal in CFL

Former Indiana football running back Shaun Shivers has signed a professional deal, according to a report.

From BGM Trax Sports which covers the Canadian Football League, Shivers will be signing with the B.C. Lions.

Shivers joins the Lions which are the oldest professional team in British Colombia. Last season the Lions went 12-6 and lost in the West Finals.

Shivers spent his final season with Indiana in 2022 after his first four years with Auburn. For the Hoosiers, Shivers totaled 592 yards on 143 carries and six touchdowns. He added 128 receiving yards and one touchdown.

For his career, Shivers had 1,612 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.

Following his career at Indiana, Shivers went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft and later signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks.

The B.C. Lions are currently 3-0 this season. Their next game is July 3 against Toronto Argonauts.
