Indiana basketball is arguably coming off their busiest recruiting month of the year with the multiple campus visits and offers extended while the staff themselves have made multiple in-home visits as well.

In total, Indiana basketball hosted over 10 recruiting targets in the month of September which included multiple five and four stars players in both the 2024 and 2025 class such as guys like Liam McNeeley, Derik Queen, Jalen Haralson, Trent Sisley and many others. As Mike Woodson previously stated in the past, this type of recruiting was what he wanted the norm to be at Indiana. He wanted to recruit the best players he possibly could.

“When I took the job, I made it clear to my coaches that we deserved to sit at the table with the best players,” Woodson told reporters this summer. “We kind of squabbled a little bit early on because they didn’t think we were in that position to be able to do that.

“I thought we were based on Indiana basketball and the history of it. So, I didn’t accept no for an answer and I told ’em (my staff) that I wanted to be able to sit at the table with the best players and compete with the Kentucky’s, the Kansas’, the Duke’s, teams like that.”

Sticking with the 2025 class, national media outlet On3 recently released their updated class rankings which featured multiple Indiana basketball targets. When it comes to the state of Indiana, the rankings saw a total of 8 players listed, as well.
