The owner of HoosierIllustrated.com, Alec Lasley, joined Tow and Tracy on ESPN 97.7 ‘The REF’ Radio on Monday morning to discuss a lot of topics related to the Indiana basketball program.

Among the topics was a deep dive into the current top transfer portal options for the Indiana basketball program and the NBA playoffs.

Indiana has three open scholarships left for the 2023-24 season. With two forwards already signed from the transfer portal, there is a huge emphasis on guard play now.

“When you’re looking at Indiana, there are not a lot of options that are top of the priority for them in the backcourt. That’s something they need to switch to immediately with the full assumption they’ll have Xavier Johnson back,” Lasley said. “They need to get more perimeter shooting. They need to get more perimeter depth … right now there are still a lot of question marks about where Indiana will go in the backcourt.”

Alec’s segment begins at 2:07 and runs through 15:45.
