We are just a week away from Big Ten Media Days and that means the continued announcement of preseason All-Big Ten teams. And this week, more Indiana football players were honored.

Pro Football Focus released its All-Big Ten teams and three Hoosiers received honors. All-American running back and kick returner Jaylin Lucas was a First-Team selection as a kick returner, receiver Cam Camper earned Second-Team honors and punter James Evans landed on the All-Big Ten Third-Team.

Michigan and Ohio State led the league in selections, with 16 and 15 respectively.

Lucas enters the 2023 season as one of the most explosive returners in the country. He totaled 591 kick return yards last season and averaged 28.1 yards per return which ranked No. 4 nationally. His two kickoff returns for touchdowns led the nation.

He added 271 rushing yards and 82 yards receiving to total 994 total all-purpose yards on the season.

Camper played in just seven games last season but quickly turned into one of the best wide receivers in the Big Ten. He finished his 2022 season with 46 catches for 569 yards and two touchdowns.

His biggest game was the season-opener against Illinois. He had 11 catches for 156 yards while defended by Devon Witherspoon. Witherspoon was just selected No. 5 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Evans is the final member of the All-Big Ten members from Indiana. He finished 2022 with a 44.3 yard per punt average raising his career average to 43.1 yards per punt. His career average is the all-time leader in Indiana football program history.

He also has 17 career punts inside the 10-yard line.

The Indiana football program is coming off of a 4-8 season in 2022.

The Hoosiers get their season underway on Sept. 2 at home against Ohio State.
