Indiana football continues to makes some waves on the recruiting trail under new head coach Curt Cingnetti.
As it was announced on his Twitter account, 2024 three-star defensive lineman Mario Landino has committed to Indiana. Landino had recently committed to James Madison University beofre re-opening his recruitment once Curt Cignetti was hired by Indiana. He was offered by Indiana on December 4th of this year. He recently completed an official visit over this past weekend.
Landino is a 6’foot-4, 250 pound defensive lineman out of Emmaus, Pennsylvania is rated as a three-star in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. In the 247Sports Rankings, he was ranked as the 58th player in Pennsylvania and was the 241st defensive lineman in the country.
Along with Indiana and James Madison, Landino had offers from Rutgers, Kent State, Akron, UConn, Air Force, Army, Navy, and many more.
During his senior season, the new Indiana football commit totaled 102 tackles which included 3 sacks and 20 tackles for loss.
