The Indiana football program received its first commitment in the 2024 class over the weekend when three-star tight end Brody Kosin announced his pledge to IU.
Kosin picked Indiana over programs such as Kentucky, Duke, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Kansas among others.
He is ranked as the No. 38 tight end in the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2024 class. He is also the No. 21 player in Michigan.
The 6-foot-6 and 225-pound tight end finished his junior season with 17 catches for 250 yards and five touchdowns. He had a 14.7 yard per catch average.
Kosin is a two-sport athlete at Clarkston (MI) High school. He is also a member of the basketball team.
Kosin was used all over the field last season. He has been lined up on the outside, in the slot, or at the tight end position. He has terrific size and has a high usage rate in the red zone. Kosin doesn’t have breakaway speed, but he has good footwork and hands.
