Indiana basketball is continues to make plays when it comes to the 2026 recruiting class.

Coming off a visit to Indiana at last night’s home game vs Ohio State, the Hoosiers extended an offer to 2026 Washington County (Ky.) forward Gabe Weis.

This was the second time Weis had visited Indiana with his first visit coming at Hoosier Hysteria back in October of last year.

Weis, a 6-foot-6 forward out of Springfield, KY, is one of the most faster rising forward in the 2026 class. He attends Washington County High School and will play for Wildcat Select on the Adidas 3SSB circuit next summer. He played for Phenom United on the same circuit last summer.

During his freshman season at Washington Catholic, he shot 53.9% from the field while averaging 11.5 points per game. He also added 7.0 rebounds per game, as well.

Weis is a long, athletic forward that has just a great flow and feel to the game. He has great instincts on both ends of the floor and is a guy that can be an impact on defense while also being a player you can rely on to be a playmaker on the offensive end. Lot of upside in Weis.

He currently holds offers from schools such as Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State, LSU, Louisville, Texas A&M, and others with interest starting to grow from Kentucky, as well.
