2026 Montverde (Fla.) Academy guard Kayden Allen earned an offer from the Indiana basketball program on Sunday afternoon.

Allen is a five-star prospect nationally, ranked No. 14 overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Indiana basketball joins Arizona State, Georgia, Auburn, Cincinnati, Washington, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech and others who have extended an offer.

The 6-foot-5  Allen can play both guard positions on the floor and is a terrific scorer and shot creator. He impressed this summer playing for the Georgia Stars on the Nike EYBL Circuit.

“Playing with his summer team the Georgia Stars in the 15U division of the Peach Jam, the 6-foot-5 guard made a serious second impression. Allen was one of the most complete guards that I saw on the offensive end from the class of 2026,” 247Sports Basketball Director Eric Bossi wrote this summer. “He averaged 24.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while making everything look easy. Allen is a big guard who can handle the ball and create in the lane, he’s a more than respectable jump shooter and he looks like he’ll be a top-notch athlete as well.”

Already Allen has taken a handful of visits. So far, he’s visited, Auburn, Georgia Tech and UCF.

Playing on a loaded Montverde roster, Allen plays limited minutes. He’s appeared in 14 games this season and is averaging 4.1 points per game.

Indiana basketball has seen numerous players from Montverde come through its program since Mike Woodson took over. It had Big Ten Freshman of the Year Jalen Hood-Schifino last season as well as forward Malik Reneau — currently Indiana’s leading scorer as a sophomore. Also, five-star wing Liam McNeeley is signed with Indiana in the 2024 class.
