The Indiana basketball program continued its offer spree after the first live evaluation period. This time, extending a scholarship offer to 2024 four-star wing Annor Boateng.

Boateng plays for the Arkansas Hawks on the Adidas 3SSB circuit and Little Rock Central (Ark.) in high school. Indiana coaches Brian Walsh and Jordan Hulls watched him last weekend.

Boateng is ranked as the No. 25 overall player in the 2024 class in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is the No. 7 small forward in the class.

247Sports analyst Adam Finkelstein broke down the performance from Annor Boateng this weekend.

“When it comes to two-way players, no one was more consistently impactful Saturday than Annor Boateng, who led his Arkansas Hawks team to wins over Compton Magic and Austin Rivers Southeast Elite,” Finkelstein wrote. “Boateng is already known as one of the best defensive players in the national class of 2024, and he’s earned that reputation with his competitiveness, physicality, and consequent versatility.

“His offense has made notable progress in recent months as well. His size and strength can allow him to get downhill and play through contact, but his shooting is becoming increasingly dangerous as well. He was a threat off both the catch and the dribble, making some tough ones while still playing within the flow for the most part. Ultimately, his mentality and approach set the standard from start to finish of both games.”

Some of the other programs involved in his recruitment are: Auburn, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Georgia Tech. The 6-foot- 6, 205-pound small forward took an official visit to Auburn earlier this spring.

His recruitment is just getting underway so it’ll be interesting to see how much momentum Indiana can gain over the next few weeks — with the staff expected to watch him again next weekend.
