Former Indiana basketball wing Kaleb Banks has found his new home, committing to Tulane on Sunday afternoon.

Banks, a rising junior, was part of the 2022 recruiting class with Jalen Hood-Schifino, Malik Reneau and CJ Gunn.

The former four-star prospect played sparingly in his time with Indiana basketball, appearing in 45 games and averaging just 8.0 minutes a game for his career.

This past season, Banks played 21 games, averaging 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds a game. He averaged 2.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game in his two years.

Banks was the second player in the 2022 class to commit to play Mike Woodson and Indiana basketball. He had other offers from Georgia, Clemson, Alabama and others. Indiana assistant coach Yasir Rosemond was the lead recruiter for Banks.

As a senior, Banks was the Class 4A Player of the Year in Georgia playing for Fayette County. He averaged 23 points, 10 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in his senior season.

Banks was the final member of the Indiana basketball players who transferred out of the program this offseason to find a new landing spot. CJ Gunn committed to DePaul while Payton Sparks went back to Ball State.

Banks will have two years of eligibility.
