IU basketball senior guard Trey Galloway spoke with the media via Zoom on Thursday.
Galloway discussed his improved shooting, work over the summer, increased leadership role and more.
Galloway, who played one season under former Indiana head coach Archie Miller, has played for Mike Woodson for the last two season. Both Trey Galloway and Anthony Leal are the last remaining players from the Archie Miller era.
Last year was Trey Galloway’s best season yet for the Hoosiers as he averaged 6.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 32 total games, which included 25 starts.
Galloway also saw a major improvement in his shot making shooting 47.2 percent (77-of-163) from the field including 46.2 percent (30-of-65) from behind the arc.
Galloway, who has played mostly coming off the bench for the majority of his time with the IU basketball program, is expected to be a part of the starting backcourt this upcoming season alongside senior guard Xavier Johnson.
He will be viewed as Indiana’s secondary ballhandler with Jalen Hood-Schifino now in the NBA.
