Mike Woodson and Indiana basketball have their eye’s set on multiple players in the 2025 class and one of their primary targets is 6-foot-7 point guard Jalen Haralson.
For the first time in nearly four years, the Nike Elite 100 camp returned this past week which showcased some of the best underclassman in the nation.
While there were multiple Indiana targets that were in attendance, it was Jalen Haralson that was named the ‘best long-term prospect’ out of all of them according to 247Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finkelstein.
“The best long-term prospect in the field was likely Jalen Haralson,” said Adam Finkelstein when discussing Haralson’s performance at Nike elite 100. “With good size, long arms, a strong frame, and some legit playmaking ability for himself and others, he possessed a unique combination of tools within the field. He could make plays off the dribble in the open floor, operate out of ball-screens, and showed a passing acumen to match his scoring, even if he didn’t always fully assert himself like he was capable of.”
Haralson, who attends Fishers (IN) High School, plays alongside fellow primary 2025 Indiana target Trent Sisley on Indy Heat 17U as part of the Nike EYBL circuit. He and Sisley are often linked together as they are considered the two best 2025 in-state prospects in Indiana.
“Obviously, he is really athletic and he can get to the rim,” Jalen Haralson’s Indy Heat 17U teammate Trent Sisley told HoosierIllustrated.com earlier this spring. “He’s been knocking down that three-ball too so really just a fun guy to play with and just always hits the open guy.”
Haralson has averaged 11.3 point, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game for Indy Heat 17U while shooting 34-of-71 (47.9%) from the field.
Along with Indiana, other schools that are involved with the highly talented guard include Purdue, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Auburn, Missouri, Florida State, and others.
