The Indiana basketball program has extended an offer to 2025 point guard Darius Acuff of Cass Tech (MI) and The Family on the Nike EYBL circuit.

Acuff has been very good this spring, averaging 20.5 points and 4.0 assists per game. He is shooting 47.7 percent from the floor and 38.3 percent (31-of-81) from three. He’s the second-leading scorer on the EYBL circuit.

He has four 25+ point performances in 12 games this spring. Acuff had 30 points on Sunday against AZ Unity where he was 8-of-16 from three.

Acuff is playing up with the 17U division.

247Sports National Recruiting Director Eric Bossi wrote about Acuff’s weekend and spring.

“A smooth operator on offense who sees angles, plays through contact and explodes through holes in the defense, what makes Acuff so dangerous is that he can really shoot from deep as well. After Sunday morning’s explosion, he’s averaging 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists through 12 EYBL games. He’s also knocking home 38% of his threes and is only turning the ball over 1.4 times per game despite being tasked with a lot of ball handling.

“If he hadn’t already put himself into the conversation for an entrance into the upper tier of the 2025 rankings, he cemented that with his play on Sunday while going for 30 points and six assists.”

Acuff now holds offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh and UCF.

Acuff led Cass Tech to a 27-1 record and the school’s first Division 1 state championship this season. He was named the MaxPreps Player of the Year in Michigan after averaging 21.4 points and 5.7 assists per game.
