The latest member of the Indiana basketball alumni TBT team was announced on Thursday and it was a major name: Yogi Ferrell.

Ferrell will be joining Juwan Morgan, Devonte Green, Miller Kopp and Troy Williams who have been announced previously.

The Indiana native has been playing professionally overseas for the past four seasons. Before that, he played in 259 career games during his five-year NBA career averaging 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He was also named a part of the NBA All-Rookie Second Team during the 2016-17 season.

Ferrell went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft after four decorated seasons with the Indiana basketball program. He was an AP Third-Team All-American (2016), two-time First-team All-Big Ten selection (2015, 2016), Second-team All-Big Ten (2014), Big Ten All-Defensive team (2016) and Big Ten All-Freshman Team (2013).

He also helped lead the Hoosiers to two Big Ten regular season championships (2013, 2016). He finished his career as the all-time leader in assists in Indiana basketball program history.

Before coming to Indiana, the Park Tudor (Ind.) product was a 2012 McDonald’s All-American.

TBT will have eight regions across the country from July 19th-July 24th and one semifinals/championship site. The Assembly Ball team will be playing at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on July 19-23.

The winning team receives $1M split up between the team members, all earning a different ‘salary’ amount.

Assembly Ball begins play on July 19 at 8:00 pm.
