‘We’ll be playing in this (Big Ten championship) game next year’: Curt Cignetti joins BTN crew for first interview as Indiana football head coach

New Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti joined the crew on the Big Ten Network as his first interview since accepting the job.

Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti made his first media appearance on Friday since accepting the job in Bloomington on Thursday.

Cignetti joined the Big Ten Network crew in Indianapolis to discuss his decision to join the Indiana football program, why it was appealing, his goals and expectations ahead of his first season in 2024.

“I figured I had to make this trip up here since we’ll be playing in this (Big Ten Championship) game next year,” Cignetti said as he signed off.

The interview takes place between the 16:25 mark and 25:30 mark.
