The Indiana basketball program added its final member to the 2024-25 roster on Tuesday as Dallas James signed with the Hoosiers.

James is a 7-footer from South Carolina State who has one year of eligibility remaining.

He averaged 1.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game across four years. He shot 56.2 percent from the floor at South Carolina State.

He is the son of NBA veteran Jerome James.

“Dallas is an incredibly intelligent young man that will provide us with some depth across our front line,” Indiana basketball head coach Mike Woodson said. “He is a tall kid with long arms that can contest and alter shots at the rim.”

James joins a front court that consists of Omar Ballo, Malik Reneau and Langdon Hatton.

Full Ride founder Ant Wright provides his take on what James will bring to Indiana next year.

“He’s the perfect defensive-minded player to battle day in and day out in practice and workouts against one of the best front courts in the country,” Wright said.

Below is his full video breakdown.
