Week 3 of the annual Metro Indiana Basketball Fall League took place over the weekend and this week featured a 2025 Indiana basketball recruiting target with in-state, three-star guard Azavier Robinson participating. The Metro Indy Basketball Fall League has seen many former Hoosiers participate over the years which include Trayce Jackson-Davis, Yogi Ferrell, Rob Phinisee, Joey Brunk, Zach McRoberts, Collin Hartman, Austin Etherington, Derek Elston, and Johnny Jager.

HoosierIllustrated.com was in attendance and got an extended look at the Lawrence North High School (IN) guard. As a sophomore at Lawrence North, Robinson averaged 20.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game.

It is also well-known that current Indiana basketball sophomore guard CJ Gunn attended Lawrence North, as well.

After taking an unofficial visit back in September, Mike Woodson and Indiana basketball extended an offer to Azavier Robinson. Robinson was also in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria, as well.

Other schools such as Illinois, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Xavier, Georgetown, Butler, St. John’s, Indiana State, and many others are all involved.

Robinson is ranked the No. 134 player in the 2025 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Below are extended highlights of Azavier Robinson at the Metro Indy Basketball Fall plus an evaluation of his game.

Azavier Robinson has been on the Indiana basketball radar for awhile now. He is a lightening quick guard that can score at all three levels of the floor. When it comes to getting past the defender and getting to the basket, Robinson’s speed and on-ball skills are a major advantage of his. He is a highly athletic player and is so explosive off the dribble and just overall has elite playmaking ability.

Watching him over the weekend, you can easily tell that Azavier Robinson has put on much-needed size and strength which allowed him to overpower his defender many times. His passing ability and court vision was a major standout as well because he was finding his teammates at a high rate and was setting them up for easy buckets, especially in transition.

This season, he is expected to lead Lawrence North as one of the favorites to win the Class 4A State Championship.
