As the transfer window closes on Saturday, Indiana football received another big time pickup as Ole Miss safety Louis Moore signed with the Hoosiers.
Moore spent one season with Ole Miss, totaling 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, one fumble recover, one pass deflection and 0.5 sacks.
Back in 2023 when Moore was with Indiana, he had his best and most productive season finishing with 83 tackles and three interceptions.
Indiana needed help in the portal at the safety position with both Terry Jones Jr and Sean Asbury II graduating — combining for 108 tackles this season.
In three seasons, Moore has combined for 126 tackles, 1.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and three interceptions.
Moore’s addition not only brings a very productive player, but his leadership and familiarity with Indiana is an added plus — albeit under a different coaching staff.
Indiana has now added 11 players through the transfer portal and have a top-25 class nationally.
