Following a historic season for the IU football program, a pair of Hoosiers were invited to the 2025 NFL Combine taking place in Indianapolis later this month.

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke and defensive lineman CJ West were the two Indiana players invited — among the 329 total invitees.

Rourke emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the country during his lone season in Bloomington as he finished with 3,042 yards with 29 touchdowns and five interceptions. His season was one of the best in IU history, and around the country. Going into the College Football Playoff, he led the nation in passing efficiency (181.4) and led the Big Ten in passing touchdowns (27) and fewest interceptions (4). The three-time Offensive Player of the Week in the league, Rourke became the first Big Ten quarterback since 2000 to throw for 250 yards and at least three touchdowns in the first three conference road games.

He finished the year in the top-10 of the Heisman voting.

For his career, Rourke threw for 10,693 yards across 48 games, completing 67 percent of his overall passes. He finished with 79 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.

On the defensive side of the ball, CJ West played one season at Indiana following a standout career at Kent State. The 6-foot-2 and 330-pound defensive tackle had 40 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery with IU football this season.

West finished his career with 150 tackles, 27 tackles for loss and 9.0 sacks.

The NFL Combine runs from February 24 to March 3, with coverage on the NFL Network.
