The 2024 USA Men’s U18 National Team has been announced and Indiana basketball has many targets that have made that prestigious roster.
Out of the 12 players that made the 2024 USA Men’s U18 National Team, Indiana basketball has four 2025 targets on that roster. Those four players include 2025 five-stars Darius Acuff, Trey McKenney, Nate Ament, and Mikel Brown Jr. All players that have been on the radar of Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers for quite sometime.

Both Acuff and McKenney are very use to playing with one another as they both compete together for The Family 17U on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Both five-star guards have been one of the best backcourts on the Nike EYBL circuit and according to the stats provided by EYBL, the elite duo is averaging 35.5 point per game through four EYBL sessions.
Acuff, who is out of the IMG Academy program, is listed as the No. 9 overall prospect in the 2025 247Sports composite rankings while his teammate, Trey McKenney, is rated No. 12 overall prospect. McKenney is based out of St. Mary’s High School (MI).
Mikel Brown Jr is a 6-foot-3 lead guard out of the Overtime Elite Program. The electric point guard averaged 13.4 points dn 5.4 assists per game for Cold Hearts in the Overtime Elite league this past season. He runs with Team Loaded on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.
He is rated the No. 15 overall prospect in the 2025 247Sports composite rankings.
Nate Ament is a 6-foot-9 forward out Warrenton, VA who attends Highland High School. Ament earned an offer from Indiana basketball last fall and has been not only on the rise since, but been a prospect that Indiana has been very active with. Ament also runs with Team Loaded on the Adidas 3SSB circuit and teammates with Mikel Brown Jr.
It was recently announced that Ament will be visiting Indiana basketball soon. He is rated as the No. 13 prospect in the 247Sports rankings.
