There have been many players in the national high school class of 2025 that have had breakout springs/summers on the AAU circuit. But, there is one player in particular that can honestly make a case as to having the biggest rise from a recruiting standpoint and also just-so-happens to be a key Indiana basketball target.
That player that we are referring to? Shooting guard Braylon Mullins, who has gone from a more unknown name nationally to arguably the best scoring guard in the 2025 class nationally.
In the updated 247Sports 2025 Rankings, Braylon Mullins found himself in the top 25 at the No. 24 spot now being a borderline five-star prospect. What makes it even more impressive is that he jumped 70 spots from the last updated 2025 rankings.

The 6-foot-5 Indiana basketball guard target has averaged 20.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game this spring for Indiana Elite. He also shot 96-of-172 (55.8%) from the field and 50-of-96 (52.1%) from three.
Mullins used a springboard from his high school season, all while not being 100% healthy, into this spring and it helped him really emerge as a big-time prospect who is going to be rising up rankings. For Greenfield-Central this past season he averaged 25.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and shot 43 percent from three (61-of-143).
“It’s been good. I took probably a month off and when I got back and got back to my first training camp it (back) felt good. Still hurts a little bit, but I’m playing through it, stretching and just trying to get back to 100 percent,” Mullins said this spring to HoosierIllustrated.com.
“I want to get stronger and build some muscle because that’ll really help me for the next level. But really consistency is my number (focus) one right now. I just want to be more consistent around the three-point line even if I do make a couple. I just want to take better shots in general.”
Mullins play has earned him offers school such as Purdue, Kansas, Wisconsin, UConn, North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan State, Ohio State, Alabama, and more since the start of the spring season.
He will join fellow Indiana Elite teammates Trent Sisley and Malachi Moreno on a official visit the weekend of Sept. 20 to Indiana basketball.
