2025 in-state guard and key Indiana basketball target Braylon Mullins continues to showcase his skillset and grow his game and that’s receiving national attention.

Mullins had another terrific weekend for Indiana Elite on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.

In five games, Mullins averaged 20.0 points per game and shot 47 percent from three (16-of-34).

The 6-foot-5 shooter got his weekend started with a bang, scoring 28 points and going 6-of-10 from three against Phenom United. It was a terrific way to begin his weekend following a 29-point game he had to finish the last 3SSB session.

Mullins had two 20-point games and shot 54 percent or greater from the field in four of the five games this weekend.

“It’s hard to say a player already ranked within the top 100 and with offers from the likes of Indiana, Michigan, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and others could be a riser, but I walked away from Saturday morning’s game believing he was just scratching the surface,” 247Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finkelstein wrote this weekend. “The irony was he didn’t even have a good shooting day. But make no mistake about it, this guy can shoot. He’s also got toughness and some signs of feel. Give his body a while to catch-up and he’s going to be a real problem.”

In his lone off game, Mullins had just 13 points but was impressive in numerous different areas. His play, this weekend specifically, gave Finkelstein a real look at what type of player the Indiana basketball target could be. It was impressive enough to have Finkelstein leaving the weekend thinking Mullins has the ‘chance to be special’.

“Really impressed with Indiana Elite’s Braylon Mullins this weekend,” Finkelstein continued. “The shooting is very real, he sees the game quickly, has good size, and plays with no fear. Give his body a chance to catch-up and he’s got a chance to be special.”

Through two sessions this spring, Mullins is averaging 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He’s shooting 53 percent from three (35-of-66) and has five games with at least four made 3s. His best two performances were going 8-of-11 and then 6-of-10 from three.

Mullins is using a springboard from his high school season into this spring and it’s helping him really emerge as a big-time prospect who is going to be rising up rankings. For Greenfield-Central this season he averaged 25.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and shot 43 percent from three (61-of-143).

He dealt with a back injury towards the end of the season as well.

“It’s been good. I took probably a month off and when I got back and got back to my first training camp it (back) felt good. Still hurts a little bit, but I’m playing through it, stretching and just trying to get back to 100 percent,” Mullins said last weekend to HoosierIllustrated.com.

“I want to get stronger and build some muscle because that’ll really help me for the next level. But really consistency is my number (focus) one right now. I just want to be more consistent around the three-point line even if I do make a couple. I just want to take better shots in general.”

Mullins is currently ranked No. 100 in the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 6 player in Indiana.

Indiana basketball went full staff to see him a few weeks ago and have made him a top priority for the 2025 recruiting class.

Along with Indiana basketball, Mullins has offers from Michigan, Iowa, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Butler, Virginia Tech and others.

Here are additional scouting notes from Kyler Staley of HoosierIllustrated.com from last weekend.

“When it comes to in-state prospects, nobody has had a better start to the AAU season than Greenfield-Central guard Braylon Mullins and the 6-foot-5 elite scorer was electric once again this weekend. It almost felt like every time that Mullins let a shot go, it was going in, which happened most of the time. He worked really well on and off the ball when it came to getting shots off and really enjoyed how he utilized ball screens to get free looks. He also showed a strong first step off the dribble to attack the basket and was a little underrated when it comes to making plays in transition. You also often forget just how athletic he is as well because Mullins can fly with the best of them and finish at the rim. Mullins’ stock is still rising at such a rapid pace.”
