After a rough loss on the road at Ohio State, #10 Indiana football returns home for its final game of the regular season, hosting instate rival, Purdue.
Purdue enters the game having one of its worst seasons in recent memory, holding a 1-10 overall record, while going 0-8 in Big Ten conference play.
Purdue’s lone victory of the season came in the season opener, as the Boilermakers shutout Indiana State, 49-0, at home.
While Ohio State snapped Indiana’s undefeated record, Indiana will look to add one more regular season win to the team’s historic season.
Below is the full preview ahead of Saturday’s matchup.
Key Question
What does Indiana have to do to stay in the CFB Playoff Bracket?
Tuesday night, the CFB Playoff committee pushed Indiana to the #10 spot in its updated playoff bracket.
Indiana football also saw itself rank at #10 in both the coaches poll and the AP poll.
In its last three games against ranked opponents, Purdue has scored a total of just 10 points.
Indiana’s offense is averaging 36.75 points per game against Big Ten opponents this season.
If Indiana’s offense can excel, and its defense can limit Purdue to low scoring, Indiana will have the chance to blowout Purdue.
