The IU basketball program is set to host its first visit in the 2025 transfer cycle and thus the Darian DeVries era with DePaul transfer guard Conor Enright.

Enright will visit Indiana next Tuesday, April 1, a source confirms to HoosierIllustrated.com. On3’s Joe Tipton was the first to report the news. Iowa is also in the mix to receive a visit, although no date has been officially set.

Enright spent the 2024-25 season at DePaul where he averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists a game. He played just 23 games after suffering a shoulder injury in early February that kept him out the remainder of the season.

Enright was seventh in the Big East in assists before going down with his injury. He had nine games with 8+ assists, including two games with 11 assists.

The 6-foot guard is the true definition of a point guard and distributor. He is a pass-first guard who showed he was one of the better facilitators in the Big East, with an assist rate of 37.5 percent. For reference, Trey Galloway had an assist rate of 29.9 percent. Also, all-time IU leader in assists, Yogi Ferrell, never had an assist rate above 29 percent.

While Enright is a terrific playmaker, he also struggles at times turning the ball over. He had 10 games with 4+ turnovers last year, and averaged 3.1 turnovers a game.

He shot just 32.5 percent from three this season but shows a good ability to knock down shots from the outside, just at a streaky rate. He made at least one three in 18 of the 23 games he played last year. Enright had an effective field goal rate of 64 percent on catch and shoot opportunities, ranked in the 94th percentile.

Enright is a strong driver, however. He uses his body to create contact in the paint and force his way through defenders at the rim. A relatively crafty finisher, Enright can be a bit out of control at times when he’s attacking the basket.

Before DePaul, Enright spent two seasons at Drake under DeVries. He played 68 games and averaged 5.5 points and 2.4 assists per game. He started all 33 games for Drake as a sophomore while averaging 6.9 points and 3.2 assists while shooting 43.9 percent (43-of-98) from three.

Enright has one year of eligibility remaining.
