Watch: IU basketball top-25 target Braylon Mullins Adidas 3SSB Championship highlights

Key IU basketball target Braylon Mullins helped make Indiana Elite one of the best and toughest teams on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this spring and summer and they showed it again this past week as it advanced to the Championship of bracket play. Unfortunately, it ran into Utah Prospects who came away with a 61-51 win.

Indiana Elite was undefeated coming into this week but dropped the first two games of pool play before making it to the Championship game. Mullins scored 22 points on 5-of-13 shooting and hit four 3s in Sunday’s Championship. He was the only player in double-figures for Indiana Elite.

Mullins averaged 17.3 points and shot 35 percent from three this week.

Indiana Elite finished 16-1 this season and Mullins was a major part of that. He averaged 19.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He shot 47.3 percent from three (62-of-131) this season. In tournament play, he had nine 20+ point games.

Mullins is set to visit the Indiana basketball program in late September — one of a handful of visits he currently has scheduled. Other programs involved are UConn, Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan, Purdue and Tennessee.
