Look: Pictures of IU basketball center Kel’el Ware drafted by the Miami Heat

IU basketball center Kel’el Ware is officially in the NBA as the Miami Heat selected the former Hoosier with in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft with the No. 15 pick.

In his one year at Indiana, Ware averaged 15.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.9 blocks per game in 30 appearances. He started every game he appeared in and was an All-Big Ten Second Team selection.

In Big Ten play alone, Kel’el Ware averaged 16.9 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game for IU basketball. He led the league in field goal percent at 63.2 percent shooting from the floor.

Ware became the 80th player from the IU basketball program to be drafted in the NBA.
