The Indiana football program kept the momentum going with its 2024 recruiting class on Friday, receiving a commitment from 2024 offensive lineman Austin Leibfried.

The Mount Horeb (Wisc.) lineman chose Indiana over offers from Air Force, Akron, Coastal Carolina, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, North Dakota State, Dartmouth, Columbia, Eastern Michigan and others. Indiana was Leibfried’s only power five offer.

Leibfried visited Indiana June 16 and built a strong connection with offensive line coach Bob Bostad, with his former connection to Leibfried’s home state helping.

Leibfried is 6-foot-6 and 265 pounds and ranked the No. 84 offensive tackle in the 2024 class. He is the No. 11 overall prospect in the state.

He was an All-Conference and All-Region First-Team selection as a junior.

This is the 16th commitment for the Indiana football program. He is the third offensive line commit in the class, joining three-star in-state commits Adedamola Ajani and Evan Lawrence.
