Indiana football picks up commitment from NC State defensive back transfer Devan Boykin

The Indiana football program picked up another transfer commitment on Tuesday afternoon as NC State defensive back Devan Boykin become the newest Hoosier.

Boykin had 45 appearance — and 19 starts — with the Wolfpack across four years. He combined for 117 tackles, seven pass break ups, six tackles for loss and four interceptions.

He did not play during the 2024 season after he suffered a torn ACL before the Pop-Tarts Bowl last year

During the 2023 season, Boykin had 54 tackles with three interceptions and three tackles for loss. He was All-ACC Honorable Mention.

In 2022, Boykin had 20 tackles and in 2021 he finished with 24 tackles and four pass break ups.

The 5-foot-10 cornerback has one season remaining of eligibility.

Boykin joins Ryland Gandy of Pitt, Louis Moore of Ole Miss and Amariyun Knighten from Northern Illinois as the defensive back commits this offseason for Indiana football.

Boykin is the 19th offseason addition through the transfer portal.
