Penn State sophomore quarterback Beau Pribula entered the transfer portal last Sunday, December 15, 2024. Indiana football is interested.

Pribula, a redshirt sophomore, appeared in 12 games this season for Penn State, completing 26 of 35 passing attempts, throwing for 275 passing yards, five passing touchdowns and one interception.

Pribula showed some mobility on the field, rushing for 242 yards on 38 carries, finding the end zone four times.

Per Pete Nakos of On3Sports, Pribula is lined up for a visit to Indiana for this weekend. Pribula also scheduled visits to Iowa and UCF.

Prior to this season, Pribula saw some time on the field in 2023 in his redshirt freshman season, passing for 11 completions on 21 attempts, totaling 149 passing yards and four touchdowns. Pribula also rushed for 329 yards on 56 carries, finding the end zone six times.

247Sports ranks Pribula as a three star quarterback in the transfer portal, coming in at the 12th best quarterback in the portal.

Indiana football will be in the hunt for the addition of a quarterback, with starter Kurtis Rourke running out of college eligibility following the conclusion of the CFB Playoffs. The future absence of Rourke has put Indiana in a place of need to bring in a potential starting quarterback for the 2025 season.

Indiana football is slated to have a quarterback room next season consisting of Tyler Cherry, Tayven Jackson and Alberto Mendoza.

Cherry and Mendoza were both true freshman this season, while Jackson was a redshirt sophomore.
