All signs point to Indiana football being a bowl eligible team for the second-straight season.
With the start of the football season less than 75 days away, the Hoosiers now know what their projected win total will be ahead of the 2025 season. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Indiana’s win total is listed at 8.5. Indiana football is tied for 4th with Michigan out of the Big Ten teams with the highest projected win totals. After being an unranked team entering the 2024 season and one that was picked to finish 17th in the Big Ten alone, Indiana wrapped up the year ranked 10th in the final AP poll and has more momentum than ever heading into spring practice.
Indiana finished last year with a 11-2 season and College Football Playoff appearance in year one of the Curt Cignetti era.
“You are what your record says you are. So, 11-2. Tied for second in the Big Ten. Made the College Football Playoff. And packed the stadium. Made a lot of people proud. And had a historic season,” Cignetti said. “So set the foundation for hopefully what’s to come.”
“We’ve got a good nucleus coming back, and we’ll be okay.”
