The transfer portal splashes continue to occur for Indiana football.

Saturday afternoon, three year Michigan wide receiver Tyler Morris announced his committment to Indiana University.

This past season, Morris reeled in 23 receptions for 248 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the Wolverines.

His two touchdowns came both in Big Ten conference games, against Minnesota and Oregon.

Across his three seasons at Michigan, Morris caught 39 passes for 470 receiving yards and three touchdowns, averaging 12.1 yards per catch.

Morris also has collegiate experience on special teams, returning 15 punts for 126 yards over the last two seasons. His punt returning ability will give him an opportunity to compete to be Indiana’s main punt returner, with Myles Price out of eligibility.

Morris, a former four star recruit according to 247Sports, adds another piece of depth to Indiana’s pass catching room for next season.

Morris is the third pass catcher to transfer to Indiana this offseason, joining Makai Jackson and Riley Nowakowski.

The additions to the pass catching room are quickly filling in for the losses of Miles Cross and Myles Price.
