Indiana football released its spring roster for the upcoming semester and based off what we saw, there looks to be a few players that will not be a part of the program moving forward.

The most notable absence on the Indiana football spring roster is cornerback Jamir Johnson. Johnson had been with the program since the 2023 season, the last year with Tom Allen as the head coach of the Hoosiers.

Johnson had 10 stars for the Hoosiers during the 2024 season that included 25 solo tackles and 35 total.

According to Pro Football Focus, he had the lowest overall coverage grade among the Indiana football starters giving up 34 catches for 351 yards on 51 targets.

Indiana’s secondary next season will feature returns from D’Angelo Ponds and Jamari Sharpe.
