Live, running blog of Indiana football vs Charlotte in week four of the college football season as the Hoosiers look to improve to 4-0.

Week 4 of the season is here and Indiana football is looking to improve to 4-0 and match their best start to a season this century with Charlotte coming to Bloomington.

The Hoosiers are coming off a massive blow out win on the road against UCLA in their first conference game of the season.

Saturday’s game will be the last non-conference game of the regular season, before Indiana football jumps into the heart of the Big Ten schedule.

The game will kick at noon ET and air on the Big Ten Network.

Below is a live blog with updated coverage throughout the game.

First Quarter

Indiana football won the toss and elected to get in the ball in the second half. Charlotte ball.

Hoosiers force a three-and-out in the opening drive. Indiana with the ball on the CHA49.

Ty Son Lawton with an easy 8-yard rush TD to get Indiana on the board first. Hoosiers up 7-0 with 10:12 left in 1Q.

Indiana allows a Charlotte first down but when ultimately force them to punt. Myles Price returns it to the IND45.

Justice Ellison with a nice 17-yard rush to open up the following drive.

Indiana football held to a FG attempt and converts. Hoosiers up 10-0 with 4:08 left in 1Q.

End 1Q: Indiana football 10, Charlotte 0

Second Quarter

Charlotte TD is called back. Ineligible receiver down field.

Charlotte scores on a 13-yard TD by running back C.J. Stokes. Hoosiers lead 10-7 with 13:47 left in the half.

Rourke finds Myles Price for a 37-yard first down followed by a 29-yard completion to Elijah Sarratt. Such a vet.

Justice Ellison caps off the drive with a 2-yard TD rush. Indiana football up 17-7 with 9:50 in the half.

Indiana’s defense has not looked as good today as it had in the first three games.

TD Charlotte. Indiana only up 17-14 with 5:19 left in the half.

Sam West with the first catch of his career and it goes for 37 yards.

Kurtis Rourke with a very impressive 12-yard rush TD. Indiana extends the lead to 24-14. 3:05 left in the first half.

Charlotte punts the ball and Indiana football gets it at the 50-yard line. Two timeouts left as well.

Rourke finds Ke’Shawn Williams for a 19-yard TD. Indiana leads 31-14 with 26 26 seconds left in the half.

At the half: Indiana football 31, Charlotte 14

Third Quarter

Indiana football with the ball to start this half.

Too many big plays Indiana’s defense is letting up. Very odd to see from them.

Big fourth down stop by Indiana’s defense. A TD from Indiana may be the final nail.

Touchdown Kaelon Black. 21-yard TD rush. Hoosiers up 45-14 with 3:42 left in 3Q.

False start from Charlotte to start the next drive.

Tayven Jackson is in the game now for Kurtis Rourke.

Fourth Quarter

Indiana football punts for the first time today.

Elijah Green 13-yard rush TD results in Indiana going up 52-14 with 9:36 left to go.

Indiana football improves to 4-0.
