The Indiana football program went into the transfer portal to add needed depth at the offensive line position on Friday, landing a commitment from Ohio State transfer Zen Michalski.

Michalski has played primarily as a special teams player throughout his Buckeyes career but appeared in seven games with one start in 2024.

For his career, Michalski has appeared in 34 games.

Indiana football needed some help at the position after losing Mike Katic, Tyler Stephens, Trey Wedig and Nick Kidwell. They do, however, return Carter Smith, Bray Lynch and Drew Evans as key members of a much improved group this season.

The 6-foot-6 and 319-pounder is a native of Floyds Knobs, Indiana and was a member of the 2021 recruiting class out of Floyd Center (Ind.) High School. He was a four-star recruit and the No. 306 player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He has one season of eligibility remaining.
