The Indiana football program earned a major commitment from 2025 three-star defensive back Jaylen Bell from Grayson (Ga.) high school.
Bell committed to Indiana on his official visit this weekend.
Bell is a big time prospect who had two dozen offers, including numerous from SEC programs. He picked Indiana football over interstate from LSU, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Colorado, Miami, South Carolina and others.
The athletic cornerback is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds and is rated the No. 622 player in the country in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is also rated the No. 56 overall cornerback.
Last season as a junior, Bell had 46 tackles and one interception. In 2022, he finished with 27 tackles and a forced fumble. He had a terrific freshman season as well, finishing with 31 tackles and three interceptions.
Bell becomes the fourth defensive back to make a commitment to Indiana football and head coach Curt Cignetti in the 2025 class.
Indiana’s 2025 recruiting class is now up to nine commits.
