The first live period of the AAU season is officially wrapped up and the city of Indianapolis was the place to be this past weekend. With multiple AAU events happening in the area, the first live period weekend was highlighted by the loaded Nike EYBL Session 3 event, which took place in Westfield and had a huge Indiana basketball presence.
At EYBL this weekend, there were multiple, key 2025 Indiana basketball targets that were attendance. Arguably, the most important target for Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers that was in Westfield was five-star guard and Indiana native, Jalen Haralson.
Haralson, who runs with Indy Heat 17U, had one of the best weekends out of any prospect. According to the stats provided by EYBL, Haralson averaged an outstanding 26.6 point, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists over the weekend. He even had a game Saturday evening which saw him score 37 points, on 11-of-14 shooting while also adding 7 rebounds and 3 assists in Indy Heat’s win over Vegas Elite.
In four games over the weekend, Indy Heat when 3-1.
Haralson, a 6-foot-6 guard out of La Lumiere, had a lot of eyes on him over the weekend in all four games he played in. Schools such as Indiana, Purdue, Duke, Kansas, Auburn, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Gonzaga, Missouri, and many others that are not even listed his final 9 were in attendance for each game.
When it comes to play, Haralson was his typical unselfish self on the ball while also proving he can take over a game at nearly any moment. He did a really good job in half court settings making tremendous passes for open looks but when he was able to get downhill, he got to the rim nearly every time. What is fun about Haralson is that is he lets almost everything come to him on the floor before he makes his move.
Indiana basketball head coach Mike Woodson and assistant coaches Yasir Rosemond and Kenya Hunter all saw Jalen Haralson multiple times over the weekend.
Haralson is rated No. 10 in the 247Sports Composite 2025 Rankings.
