The offseason for Indiana basketball continues to roll on as we are now at the mid-way point of July which means summer workouts are coming close to an end. While we are well past the stage of knowing who is on the roster, Hoosier Nation now turns their focus towards just what exactly the rotation will look like plus which players will be breakout as we head into the 2024-25 season.

The Indiana basketball program is going to look a whole lot different with many new faces coming in this season however, they will bring back a very strong returning core from a season ago. The Hoosiers return 6 players from last year all while bringing 6 new faces as well.

On one of the latest episodes of The Field of 68, Full Ride Network owner ANT Wright hopped on to discuss the offseason for Indiana basketball which also included giving them a grade of how they have done with adding new pieces plus their returning core. ANT also broke down what he expects out of some of the players next season, Mike Woodson, and where he projects the Hoosiers to be throughout the year.

“I say Final Four as the ceiling and I don’t think they can win a National Championship,” ANT Wright told HoosierIllustrated.com last month on Talkin’ Bout The Hoosiers Podcast. “And I say that because they don’t have a pro on their roster as of today. And I said that about Purdue last year … I said Purdue is a Final Four team, they’re not going to win because they don’t have a pro on the perimeter … so Final Four,” Wright said. “And, I think they can finish around .500 as a floor. And if they finish there — injuries will do that, but I think injuries (also) answer a lot of rotation problems … it’s going to be because of jelling issues. Guys aren’t buying in. Guys are upset. Guys want to do them. Guys aren’t buying into the bigger picture and that’s winning a Big Ten Championship and competing for a National Title which I think this team can do.”
