On Saturday night at Southport High School was the annual FORUM Tipoff Classic featuring some of the top prospects in the entire state at the boys high school level, including a few Indiana basketball targets.

Arguably the top target that was in attendance at the FORUM Tipoff Classic was 2027 Fishers High School guard Jason Gardner Jr.

Gardner Jr. led No. 1 ranked Fishers with a team-high 18 points with it leading to a Tigers’ win over Crispus Attucks. The 2027 guard is currently averaging 16.5 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Indiana basketball assistant coach Brian Walsh was in attendance to check out Gardner Jr. The Hoosiers offered him back in October.

Along with Indiana basketball, Gardner Jr. also holds offers from schools such as Purdue, Notre Dame, DePaul, Cincinnati, and Morehead State University.

HoosierIllustrated.com was also in attendance and was able to get some film on this top in-state guard.

Below are the highlights of 2027 Fishers guard Jason Gardner Jr. plus a few scouting notes.

Jason Garnder Jr. has quickly become the top scoring option for Fishers this season, and at the FORUM Tipoff Classic at Southport vs Crispus Attucks is a perfect example. Finishing with a team-high 18 points, his straight line quickness on the ball may be the most impressive part of his game which easily allows him to change direction and be an elite playmaker getting to the rim or facilitating on a kick-out. He is also continued to show he is a very capable shooter as well and will only get better in that area. A true do-it-all type of guard that has an insane amount of upside.
