With the fall season coming up very soon, it is that time of the year you start to see high school prospects start to zero in on the schools they are going to commit to. One Indiana basketball target looks to be closer to deciding on which program he is going to join at the college level.
As first reported by Basketball Insider Adam Zagoria, 2025 five-star guard and key Indiana basketball target Braylon Mullins has cut both Duke and Tennessee out of his final list. HoosierIllustrated.com was able to confirm this report.
HooiserIllustrated.com was also able to confirm that his final list of school is expected to be released soon.
He is scheduled to make an official visit to Indiana basketball this weekend along with his Indiana Elite teammate Trent Sisley as well as 2025 four-star center Eric Reibe.
Mullins was originally scheduled to take official visits to both Duke and Tennessee later this fall. He recently took visits to schools such as North Carolina, Michigan, and Notre Dame. As of this writing, his visit to Kentucky is still set for late October.
The four-star guard out of Greenfield-Central also confirmed that he will be looking to make a decision on his commitment before the high school season starts in late November.
The 6-foot-5 Mullins helped lead Indiana Elite to a 16-1 record — its only loss in the championship game at the Adidas Championships. He averaged 19.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game over the summer and shot 47.3 percent from three (62-of-131) this season. In tournament play, he had nine 20+ point games.
Mullins was recently tabbed as a five-star prospect in the 2025 247Sports Composite Rankings. He comes in as the No. 16 overall prospect in those rankings.
