Introducing “In Touch with Indiana Sports” hosted by John Alden — an exclusive HoosierIllustrated.com show to discuss all things Indiana basketball and football

HoosierIllustrated.com is super excited to announce the launch of our newest show, “In Touch with Indiana Sports” which will be hosted the newest member of our team, John Alden. This new show will feature discussions about various topics from the Indiana University athletic program including both Indiana basketball and football especially.

New episodes will be released weekly every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Along with discussions about Indiana basketball, football, and other Hoosier athletic programs, the show will also feature discussions of other sporting topics across state and country. In Touch with Indiana Sports will also feature special guests that we know our audience will enjoy listening to.

The first official episode will take place on July 24th.

Below is a full statement from “In Touch with Indiana Sports” host, John Alden.

“I am absolutely thrilled to launch “In Touch with Indiana Sports” on HoosierIllustrated.com next week. This new show will offer a level-headed perspective on the Indiana University athletic programs, as well as what may be going on at other schools and franchises across the state.

We’ll regularly release shows on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the hope of making them live and interactive on YouTube in the very near future. We’ll also create postgame reaction shows during the Indiana basketball an football seasons.

I’ve been a producer for nearly five years at iHeartMedia in Louisville, KY. I also spent the last three years producing Indiana Sports Beat Radio, as well as filling in as host from time to time. My podcast, Out of Touch, which is co-hosted by Dustin Schutte and former Indiana football wide receiver Mitchell Paige, is also about to celebrate its first anniversary of production. Out of Touch is a show where we discuss a variety of topics, not limited to sports. We also talk about our personal lives and the everyday struggles of life. I also previously hosted an in-season Indiana football podcast with Dustin and Mitchell prior to creating Out of Touch.”
