After the controversy that was no member of the Indiana basketball staff going out this past Wednesday to see any of the recruiting targets in the state during the first-round of Sectionals, we finally confirmation that the staff will be out and about tonight.

Sources have confirmed to HoosierIllustrated.com that Indiana basketball head coach Mike Woodson is expected to be in attendance to watch 2025 four-star guard Braylon Mullins tonight during the semifinals of Sectional 9. Peegs.com was the first to report.

Mullins and Greenfield-Central High School (IN) will play Muncie Central in the semifinals tonight with a chance to compete in the Sectional 9 Championship Saturday night. Greenfield-Central is coming off a 50-44 win over Anderson this past Wednesday which saw Mullins have a game-high 26 points.

Mullins has visited Bloomington numerous times over the past year with the Indiana staff also making frequent visits, as well. Best known for his shooting ability, Mullins is averaged 26.1 points per game this season while shooting 57 percent from the field and 44 percent (49-of-133) from three.

“I feel Coach Woodson takes pride on the defensive end, and as I watched practice that’s what really stood out,” Braylon Mullins told HoosierIllustrated in the past. “Defense wins games! But definitely with all the ball screen action, and my capability of shooting, would help me fit with their style of play.”

Mullins has a great combination of length, athleticism, bounce, and just an overall smooth flow to his game when he is on the floor. He is especially good behind-the-arc where he can shoot off the catch or create off the dribble. His IQ and ability to create both on and off the ball is what makes his potential so high. A pretty versatile player overall that can be placed at nearly any spot right now and can produce. He also takes pride on the defensive end and is showing great improvements on that side of the floor.

He is the No. 66 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He will return to play for Indiana Elite 2025 on the Adidas 3SSB circuit next season alongside fellow 2025 Indiana basketball targets Trent Sisley and Malachi Moreno.

Along with Indiana basketball, Mullins has offers from Iowa, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Butler, Virginia Tech, and more.

Greenfield-Central’s game vs Muncie Central is expected to tip off around 7:30 PM ET. Sectional 9 is being held at Greenfield-Central High School.
