Quarterback Fernando Mendoza spoke with reporters this week for the first time since transferring to Indiana in the winter.

Mendoza follows the record-setting season of Kurtis Rourke in the debut season under Curt Cignetti.

Mendoza played two years at Cal and threw for 4,712 yards with 30 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He completed 66.5 percent of his passes.
