For the first time since 2013, EA Sports will be releasing a college football video game. Not only has it been the talk of the country for much of the past year, but with the game set to be released this summer, more information is coming out about the teams and players associated with it. That includes the Indiana football program.

Indiana is among the entire Big Ten that will be in the game but recently a report came out indicating how much each program will actually receive from EA for being in the game.

The range a program can receive is from $100,000 for a ‘Tier 1 school’ to less than $10,000 for a ‘Tier 4 school’. Tiers are determined by how each team finished in the final AP Poll over the course of the past 10 seasons.

Here is what each tier will reportedly make:

  • Tier 1: $99,875.16
  • Tier 2: $59,925.09
  • Tier 3: $39,950.06
  • Tier 4: $9,987.52

So, where does the Indiana football program fall? Below is the full list of FBS programs:

Indiana is one of two programs in Tier 3 along with Minnesota. Four programs are below Indiana.

The current standard of ranking by AP Poll finishes ‘is not set in stone’ for the future, however. According to the document, EA Sports will be ‘evaluating other options’ when determining tier division moving forward.

Full listing for the Big Ten:

  • Tier 1: Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Iowa
  • Tier 2: Wisconsin, USC, Washington, Northwestern, Michigan State, UCLA
  • Tier 3: Minnesota, Indiana
  • Tier 4: Maryland, Purdue, Rutgers, Illinois, Nebraska
