Indiana football plays host to the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday afternoon, looking to remain unbeaten this season.

With just three games remaining in the 2024 regular season, Indiana sits inside the top-10 of the College Football Playoff rankings. On the flip side, Michigan has lost three of the last four games and is just 5-4 overall.

Kick is set for 3:30 pm on CBS.

Below is a live blog of the key plays and notes from the game.

Pregame Notes:

It was announced that offensive lineman Drew Evans will miss the rest of the year with an Achilles injury.

First Quarter:

Indiana set to receive the kick.

Hoosiers get one first down but stall after. First drive ends in a punt after a tipped ball st the line of scrimmage.

Michigan takes over at its own 13.

Michigan moves the ball down the field inside the 10 before a fumble moves them back. UM strikes first with a 39-yard field goal. 5:01 left in the first quarter.

Wolverines got away with a few clear holding calls on that drive.

Indiana responds with a big drive as Kurtis Rourke connects with Omar Cooper for a 7-yard touchdown. IU retakes the lead with 1:17 left.

Second Quarter:

Indiana continues to move the ball with short passes throughout the possession.

Then, it was Kurtis Rourke to Elijah Sarratt for 36 yard and the score.

Indiana up 14-3.

After a quick 3-and-out for Michigan, Indiana heads down the field but go for it on 4th and 12 from the 34.

Failed on 4th down. A few plays later, Michigan fumbles at the 50 and IU takes over. UM challenging the ruling.

Indiana retains the ball and heads into the UM 10 before a PI penalty on Indiana moves the ball back. Myles Price injured on the play after taking a big hit.

Nico Radicic connects from 40.

Indiana up 17-3 with 2:20 left.

An absolutely terrible targeting call on Jamier Johnson and he’s now ejected and out for the first half of the Ohio State game.

Halftime Stats:

Third Quarter:

On the first play for Indiana after the UM punt, Kurtis Rourke throws a pick on IU’s 7.

Indiana holds UM to a field goal. 17-6 with 8:41 left.

Michigan very deliberate with its offense — run heavy.

UM connects from 56 yards. IU up 17-9 with eight seconds left.

Fourth Quarter:

Michigan converts on 4th down but fail to connect on the 2pt conversion.

Indiana up 17-15 with 9:35 left.

Rourke finds an open Sarratt on 2nd and long and it goes right through his hands. Next play — a sack. Michigan takes over on its own 27.

Sarratt with another massive drop that would’ve taken IU down to the two.

IU settles for a field goal. 20-15 with 2:34 left.

Michigan fails to convert on 4th down and IU converts on second and short a few plays later. Hoosier moving to 10-0.
